I think there are people in this world who like to take things apart just to understand how they work. People who are wonderfully curious because they love unpacking things with the express purpose of learning how they can possibly put them back together and maybe even make them better. Visionaries, creative types, or those people who had a model airplane collection. You know the kind.

And then there are people who are (playfully) curious and like information because they collect it like a magpie who hoards data like they’re shiny precious jewels in my nest. You know the kind. x2.

I do find the behind-the-scenes information fascinating. It goes to show how much thought and effort goes into making something from nothing.

Unlike the title, this book went through many iterations of its cover until we landed on the one that you’ll be seeing on bookshelves on October 8.

The book was always titled Taylor Swift Style. There simply wasn’t another option up for consideration. The subtitle was thought up by my editor which I didn’t even know a sub was going to be a thing until I saw the very first iteration of the cover …
