Critically Curated: Summer Denim

A case for styling it year-round

I wear denim all year round. There’s just something about a tee and jeans that I can wear and style endlessly - even in the heat of summer. Here are the outfits I’m thinking of with the latest silhouette trend offerings of the season. 

Denim Shorts: I recently added these to my closet as I’d been searching for a clean, darker wash denim without distressing to wear in less laidback settings. My favourite denim shorts formula of late is an oversized button up and flats. I’ve also really been finding myself attracted to animal prints again - snake and leopard, specifically. I just love the neutral-but-not and subtle textural addition of interest it adds to an outfit.
