What to do with 72 hours in Los Angeles, reflections on a successful no-buy, an unexpectedly great celebrity perfume, and is "Elizabeth Taylor" the third Showgirl single?
Hello, I'd love to stay and chat but I'm now off to find all of Taylor's blue vinyl pressings because you are an inspiration in sophisticated collections and my blue is your greeeeeeen.
1. I’ve been loving a raspberry pink either as a blush & lipstick or as a beanie
2. Last weekend I was in Tromsø (north of Norway) for a trip with friends. It’s a place renowned for how easy it is to see the northern lights and well… it did not disappoint! What a magical place.
3. I typically like to be early, but it depends on many factors. My closest airport has really good food and shopping options so I don’t mind hanging there a while before my flight.
4. I’m obsessed with “missing person” by phlur. I feel like it’s the most “me” perfume I have ever smelled.
5. I’m going to see Olivia Dean in May and I’m very excited about it!
6. To be honest, I’m not as invested in this album cycle because the album is at the bottom of my ranking. 😅 Father Figure could be a good choice, but I feel like the song is so visual already that it doesn’t NEED a MV. I am more curious to see how she would translate Elizabeth Taylor into a MV.
I'm so jealous of people who can pull off that bright zing of pink! The number of super cute vibrant pink sweaters I've seen ... alas, not for me! One day I'd love to see the Northern Lights. That sounds like a wonderful friends trip. Isn't it the absolute best when you find your "you" fragrance? I love their "Vanilla Smoke" body mist. Olivia Dean's performances I've seen have been so joyful - that's going to be such a fun night.
I tend to lean towards a sweet pomegranate cranberry colour, cobalt blue, or orange as my pops of colour (let’s be real I just love all colours. All the jewel tones lol)
My favourite short trips have been Vancouver x2 and Calgary 🤪 and also Vegas for a long weekend in 2017 was delightful with my husband.
I like to know my gate exists at least an hour before boarding but am usually at least 2 hrs early

No concerts for me so far. Hoping Noah kahan adds more tour dates and comes back to Winnipeg!

All the jewel tones! I so admire anyone who feels fluent in vibrant colours ... I'm working on it! Replica "By the Fireplace" holds a soft spot in my heart - it was my wedding fragrance! I think "Father Figure" would have some incredible MV visuals.

2. I did a weekend in Nashville which was so fun & I like to extend work trips by 1 or 2 days sometimes.
3. With Clear, TSA Precheck/Global Entry (in US), I’m pretty happy with an hour prior to boarding most of the time, international, I’ll do a little longer and use my lounge access.
4. Skipping this as I don’t do perfume ever.
