1) The London weather. Such a lovely change of pace and an opportunity for Londoners to both bask in, and complain about, the heat (the thing we love doing best).
2) The book Consider Yourself Kissed by Jessica Stanley.
3) My oat milk matcha in the morning.
4) My brothers.
5) My plants on the balcony.
6. Exploring my new neighbourhood.
7) A new dress which I love (I am most definitely usually a M, but I bought the S as I liked the fit, and the world didn't fall down)
8) Emailing my friend every day.
9) Seeing my colleagues at work who make me laugh.
Wow! Banking this in my "small victories" folder (a file that sits in my desktop that I scroll through whenever I find I'm in need of a morale boost). Truly the highest of compliments. That's so special! Thank you.
Yes yes yes to all this! You ever try to care for a dramatic peace lily? That's me.
The girlhood section is especially true in my life as well.
I'm sure you don't need this reminder but just in case, take some videos or voice notes of all those wonderful Floof noises. I wish I had more audio evidence of my sweet soul cat Wendy. At the time, her "singing" at 3am was annoying. Now, I desperately wish I could hear it again.
"Do you identify as a dramatic peace lily? /raises hand" I laughed.
Thank you so much for that suggestion. I'd never thought of that before and so appreciate the sentimental nudge to capture these precious moments with our soul kitties. Their lives are but a short gust aren't they? Thinking of you and your beloved Wendy. I know she'll be on my mind next time Floof breaks into a middle-of-the-night "karaoke" session too. <3
those trills are the best sounds 🫶
Challenge accepted! Thank you Sarah :)

10) Country music in the summer.
11) Getting to know someone new.
12) Brown eyes (always and forever)
13) My parents.
I was obsessed with the Hannah Waddingham cover story too! She's such a smoke show and inspiration.
Alistair is precious as ever. Kiss him for us!!
I just love your posts. You have a really warm presence that's felt through the screen. <3
